At the recent Casford Annual Alumni Conference held in Accra, Ahmed Amadu, President of Casley Hayford Hall (MED), delivered a powerful message advocating for peace and unity between Casford and the Atlantic Hall. Addressing the longstanding rivalry between the two halls, Amadu emphasized the importance of setting aside differences and fostering a spirit of collaboration for the betterment of both communities.

Amadu’s call for reconciliation comes at a crucial time when tensions between Casford and Atlantic Hall have hindered opportunities for cooperation and mutual growth. Recognizing the need to move past historical grievances, Amadu urged alumni from both halls to embrace dialogue and constructive engagement as pathways to resolving conflicts.

In his address, President Amadu underscored the detrimental effects of vandalism and violence on the progress and development of Casley Hayford Hall. He emphasized the imperative of maintaining peace and order within the hall’s community, highlighting that acts of vandalism and violence not only tarnish the hall’s reputation but also undermine its potential to thrive as a vibrant academic and social hub.

Amadu’s stance against vandalism and violence reflects his commitment to upholding the values of integrity, respect, and accountability within Casford. By condemning such behaviors and advocating for a culture of non-violence and mutual respect, he seeks to create an environment where students can focus on their academic pursuits and personal growth without fear of disruption or harm.

Furthermore, President Amadu’s message resonated beyond the confines of Casford, serving as a call to action for all stakeholders within the university community to prioritize peacebuilding and conflict resolution. By fostering a culture of inclusivity and cooperation, he envisions a future where Casford and Atlantic Hall can collaborate harmoniously towards shared goals, enriching the university experience for all students and alumni alike.

As President Ahmed Amadu continues to champion the cause of peace and unity within Casley Hayford Hall and beyond, his leadership serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for a brighter, more harmonious future. Through his tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to fostering positive change, he exemplifies the transformative power of dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation in building stronger, more resilient communities.
