RNMA donates an amount of money to a colleague

The Rotational Nurses and Midwives Association (RNMA) has recently donated One Thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh₵1,000.00) to one of their members.

This member is a rotational nurse having his service at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, he has been battling with a health condition for sometime now, hence should be taken to the capital city, Accra to undergo some analysis and a procedure to be performedperformed on him.

He needed some amount of money to pay for the analysis and procedure to be performed on him which it all sum up to Six Thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh₵6,000.00). Friends who are also having their service with him at the facility started a contribution to help their colleague led and facilitated by the clinicalclinical coordinator.

It was during this time that the Rotational Nurses and Midwives Association (RNMA) in the Central Region was informed about the whole issue. The Chairperson, Hon. Joshua Ampah forwarded the news to the national secretariat of the association. The national executives went through their data-base to verify if he was a full member hence could help which showed that he was truly a committed member.

RNMA membership is gained by paying a one-time due for a whole year or period of service. An amount of Twenty Ghana Cedis (Gh₵20.00) is paid by each member for the smooth running of the association and its activities.

Out of this due paid by members, an amount of One Thousand Ghana Cedis (Gh₵1,000.00) was given to him to support him in getting the analysis and procedure done successfully. The money was given to him by the Central Regional Chairperson on behalf of RNMA of Friday, 19th April, 2024 at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

The association is by this means encouraging all rotational nurses and midwives to get in touch with their respective regional executives and pay their dues so that they can also enjoy some of these benefits and more from the association.
