International Women’s Day: Let’s Invest in our girlchildren to secure a brighter future for them -Parents/Guardians Urged

The Chief Executive Officer of Abronoma Foundation, An NGO that seeks to improve the interest and welfare of Women and Girlchild for a prosperous future, Hon. Linda Nyarko Yeboah has called on parents and Guardians to invest in their female wards to secure a better future for them.

Speaking under this year’s theme: *Invest in women; Accelerate progress* for the commemoration of International Women’s Day on Friday, March 8, 2024, on GIFTS FM in an exclusive interview, Mrs. Linda Nyarko Yeboah Noted that it is important for parents and guardians to direct resources, support, and attention toward their female children and women to expedite positive advancements in various aspects of society.

Mrs. Linda Nyarko Yeboah charged parents to enroll their  female wards in education for basic knowledge to guide them in making better decisions for a brighter future. She noted that people who may be in the informal education sector (apprenticeship) must at least acquire basic education to the Junior or Senior High School to help them with decision making and the enhancement of their professions.

She therefore charged women to select different field of profession aside tailoring and hairdressing and break barriers into the male dominated professions to make positive impact in the society and inspire generations behind the female gender.

Finally, she cautioned the female youths not to be deceived by men with *I love You* quotes but must focus on working harder for better future stressing that it is important for the young females to focus on making case for better future and become conscious on the sugar quoted words used by men to get them impregnated and later cause damage to their beautiful future.
