Assent to the Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill to prevent its potential health and traditional dangers to Humans and society – Queenmother Pleads

 The Krontire Queenmother of Aboabo No.1 in the Dormaa Central Municipality of the Bono Region, Nana Yaa Serwaa Ampaafo Barakatu has pleaded with the president, Nana Akufo Addo to as a matter of urgency assent to the Proper Human Sexual rights and Ghanaians Family Values Bill passed by parliament in recent times to avoid its potential customary and Health threats to Humans and the Society at large.

Speaking to Newsmen in an interview,  Nana Krontirehemaa denoted that the practices when not well-addressed will lead to a series of ailments that can lead to physical damage and psychological trauma due to the conditions people go through for getting themselves involved in the practices hence called on parents and guardians to offer critical advice and counseling to their wards to prevent them from practicing the ungodly act since it is against the customs and traditions of our country.

Ahead of the commemoration of International Women’s Day on Friday, March 8, 2024, Nana Yaa Serwaa Ampaafo Barakatu seized the opportunity to advise school-going children, especially girls to refrain from activities that will lead to teenage pregnancy which sometimes results in school dropout. She emphasized the need for these young ones to focus on achieving higher heights in their education career to offer them greater opportunities for a better life in their future endeavors.
