ASARE BEDIAKO DECLARES INTENTION TO RUN FOR NUGS PRESIDENCY IN THE 2025 NUGS ELECTIONS
Asare Bediako, popularly known as AB, having served as Secretary for Education under the 57th NUGS administration, has declared his intention to run for the NUGS Presidency in the 2025 election.
“After a year of reflection, studying our history, and seeking guidance, I am inspired to rebuild a strong and independent NUGS, free from political influence, just as it was in its proud past,” he writes.
AB is renowned for his achievements and knowledge as Secretary for Education, and has wisely considered changing the narrative about political infiltration in NUGS, which has hindered effective leadership.
His advocacy for the welfare of Ghanaian students, leadership development, and patriotism has remained unwavering.
Some of his notable achievements include leading the Justice for Africa campaign, introducing the NUGS Quiz, launching the NUGS Innovation Challenge, participating in voluntary teaching at Volta after the flood, and many others.
Asare Bediako aims to revitalize key portfolios and make them functional, as they have been rendered redundant or non-existent.
He humbly seeks the prayers, support, and resources to make his vision a reality – a reality that will benefit all Ghanaian students.
