Charlotte Oduro, a counselor from Ghana, has highlighted that sexual dissatisfaction is an important factor contributing to unhappy among married women. During an interview on Accra’s Okay FM, she stated that due to hormonal imbalances, women often exhibit frustration over minor issues. She noted that many women facing sexual dissatisfaction struggle to communicate their needs to their husbands, resulting in enduring unhappiness and distress.
Oduro emphasized that many women appear unhappy frequently, not due to any other issue but because of sexual dissatisfaction. She explained that hormonal influences can lead to unprovoked anger in women. This dissatisfaction often manifests as anger, unwarranted shouting at children, and general irritability, as they are unable to express their sexual desires to their spouses.
In a video shared on Okay FM’s Instagram page, Oduro mentioned that women who find happiness in their homes are those who effectively communicate their sexual needs to their partners. These women tend to be more content and exhibit more positive emotions because they have partners with whom they can share their sexual feelings.
She advised that women should make it a habit to communicate their needs to their partners consistently to foster happier and healthier relationships.
