On Monday, March 31, 2025, John Dumelo joined YouTuber Wode Maya and the BuzStop Boys for a cleanup exercise at Okponglo. A video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by blogger Sika Official captured the Ayawaso West Wuogon MP and Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture actively participating in the sanitation campaign. Dumelo was seen using a shovel to remove sand from clogged gutters, which were obstructing the flow of water, and transferring it into a pan.
Additionally, he contributed GH₵10,000 to support the clearance fee for the BuzStop Boys’ newly acquired mini excavator. Since assuming office as the MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, the actor-turned-politician has remained dedicated to addressing development challenges within his constituency.
