Today exactly marks 3 years since Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid was appointed as the Chief Executive of the National Petroleum Authority to steer the affairs of the petroleum downstream sector.
The Petroleum downstream sector in Ghana encompasses all activities involved in the importation and refining of crude oil as well as sale, marketing and distribution of refined petroleum products in the country.

3 years down the lane, Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid has show fearless, courageous and transparent leadership. He has distinguished himself extraordinary to the admiration of many Ghanaians with honesty and productive leadership.
3 years down the line, he us transformed the petroleum downstream industry in Ghana with his outstanding leadership skills. He has made the National Petroleum Authority, the REAL MADRID of all public institutions in Ghana.
3 years the down lane, he has pragmatically implemented measures to sanitize the downstream petroleum sector through the enforcement of regulations to ensure a fair level playing field for all operators
3 years down the lane, “Under his guidance, the National Petroleum Authority has left its indelible mark in the hearts of many Ghanaians whose communities have been beneficiaries of clean water, educational and healthcare facilities provided by the Authority.
3 years down the lane, he has won various high top ranking awards for his outstanding leadership, impacting many lives in the country and giving hope to the hopeless.
He is humble, passionate and friendly and that is why he is called ABOKI for a reason.
He is a faithful adherent of Islam that is why he is called SHAYKH for a reason.
There is a light in him that shine as brightly as the strongest star in the sky that’s why he is called STAR BOY for a reason.
You are a man who always rolls up your sleeves to get the job done. Congratulations on this great achievement.
