The Hon. Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North Constituency, Hon.Dr. Kwamena Minta Nyarku(RAGGA) has generously donated streetlights to support the University of Cape Coast’s Student Representative Council (SRC) in their initiative, “Operation Light Up the Diaspora
Few weeks back, the member of parliament met with the leadership of the *SRC and GRASAG* to discuss pertinent issues regarding their administration and how the MP’s office can help the student leadership in some of the initiatives of the SRC and GRASAG. The leadership outlined a number of initiatives including the *“Operation Light Up the diaspora campaign” that the SRC and GRASAG have taken up and requested that the MP supports this initiative.
The MP told the student leadership that he has already launched *“Operation Light Up Cape Coast North” which is already in motion. He added that, the SRC’s vision aligned to his vision will help to improve the lightening system on campus and the diaspora especially in the communities around the University.
The SRC President, H.E Vicent Kojo Siabi received this donation on behalf of the SRC and thank the MP for his swift responds when the request when it was put before him and hoped that, more of these collaborations will be done to safeguard the interest of students and the university as a whole.
